Studying the natural and human resources, students will carefully compare Sweden and Tanzania seeking out the similarities.
A team of 14 students and 2 teachers will travel on a 9 day exploration of Tanzania. Studying the natural and human resources, students will carefully compare Sweden and Tanzania seeking out the similarities. Visiting both rural and urban areas in this diverse country, students will use their science and social science studies to inform their work.
The trip ends with a three-day visit to Barbro Johansson Girls School where they visit the students who will visit VRG in December in a true exchange. In addition, students will visit Swedish embassies and private corporates to meet and discuss the Swedish presence in Tanzania. The aim of this trip is to develop a real understanding of how Sweden and Tanzania can work together in the future and empower young people to be informed and ready to make that possible.
